STOKR Sunday 2019 Scenic Tour of the Kootenai River by Maggie Craig May 19, 2019 The Scenic Tour of the Kootenai River bike ride, which benefits Kootenai Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity, celebrated its 25th year over the weekend, May 11-12. Sunday's route took the bicyclists to Libby Dam, which this year opened the Treaty Tower especially for the STOKR riders. The top of the tower offers magnificent views of Lake Koocanusa and the Kootenai River and indeed made the day a special event.
