Hot August Showdown XIV Kootenai RC Racers August 5, 2026 The 14th annual Hot August Showdown RC race was held over the weekend of July 31-August 2 at Cabinet Mountain RC Raceway. The annual event draws remote control car competitors from around the region and beyond, including nationally known Adam and Ronda Drake, who first came to Libby in 2021 and have been returning ever since. Founded in 2013, Kootenai RC Racers is northwest Montana's premiere RC racing club, and the annual Hot August Showdowns are the premiere RC racing events in Montana.
