Eureka Outdoor Quilt Show

Eureka held its annual outdoor quilt show Saturday, August 1; always the first Saturday in August. Begun in 2005 as a way to promote tourism for the town and organized by quilter Jackie Robinson, it has become a destination event for quilters and tourists alike.
Quilts are displayed in the Historical Village and along Dewey Avenue and a special showing of Quilts for Heroes is held at General Pershing’s Veterans Memorial Park.
Displayed this year were 415 large quilts, 42 miniatures and 19 Quilts for Heroes.
