A beautiful day at the dam Friends of Scotchman Peaks Winter Tracks Libby Dam by Maggie Craig January 31, 2026 Friends of Scotchman Peaks held a Winter Tracks program at Libby Dam in late January. Libby 5th graders attended their sessions on Friday, January 23, while Troy and homeschoolers attended January 29. Winter Tracks is an educational outreach program aimed at providing students the opportunity to explore their natural world during the winter. Five stations included Horns, Hooves and Antlers; a Winter Tracks Walk; Snow Surveys; Mining; and Fire Safety and Snacks.
