The Winning Outhouse Yaak Tavern's team of Jesters went undefeated in their three heats. Four teams competed in a total of six heats. Yaak Winter Festival Outhouse Races by Maggie Craig February 18, 2021 The Yaak Winter Festival was held over the weekend of February 12-14, sponsored by the Yaak River Tavern and Mercantile. The event annually starts with a spaghetti feed on Friday followed by a cross-country ski race, a queen pageant, and live music on Saturday and outhouse races on Sunday. Rainbow was crowned the 2021 Winter Festival Queen. The Yaak River Tavern's crew of Jesters won the outhouse races undefeated in three heats and also won the "Best in Show" award for their cleverly decorated outhouse.
