Raising the flag Veterans Day November 17, 2020 Libby honored veterans with a ceremony at the Libby Cemetery on Veterans Day, November 11. On hand were members of VFW Post 1548 and members of the community wishing to remember those who have served. Libby Police officer Ian Smith gave a short speech for the remembrance. A recent snow covered the grounds of the cemetery while city officials cancelled the afternoon ceremony at Riverfront Park due to the weather forecast for rain. Related Link: libbymtvfw on Facebook
