Fall Meets Winter

The second snowstorm of the season hit the Libby area Tuesday night, again reaching into the valley. While the deciduous vegetation has rapidly turned color and the larch is beginning to, the early snow is confusing for the plants, animals and people not quite ready to admit that winter weather has arrived.
