The VFW Post 1548 and the Rotary Club of the Kootenai Valley sponsored their annual fishing day for kids ages 2-11 on Saturday, May 18. It was a rainy morning but that didn't seem to deter the forty kids who attended the VFW's event. A hot dog lunch and prizes for all were part of the kids' day.
