Joe Dussia's eagle Raimondas Uzdravis' dragon Chainsaw Carving Championship - Sunday Kootenai Country Montana by Maggie Craig September 27, 2018 The third and final day of the second annual Kootenai Country Montana Chainsaw Carving Championship saw the carvers putting finishing touches on their exhibition pieces and producing a third quick carve for the day's auction. Judging results and the exhibition piece auction finished up the day and another successful weekend of carving competition and awe-inspiring artwork. Judges' results: Joe Dussia, 1st place for $5000; Mark Colp, 2nd place for $3000; John Schulz, 3rd place for $2000; and Honorable Mention to Dennis Beach. People's Choice award went to Tomas Vrba.
