Bongo Love Garry Shand Chainsaw Carving Championship - Saturday Kootenai Country Montana by Maggie Craig September 27, 2018 Saturday's chainsaw carving competition continued with the event's 20 carvers working on their exhibition pieces as well as a second quick carve item to auction. The auction got underway at 2:00 p.m. to a responsive crowd. The artistic talent of these carvers is extraordinary and their medium would seem to be difficult, yet they show us very impressively what both talent and practice can accomplish.
