A Family Day On the Kootenai Kootenai Valley Triathlon Run, Paddle, Pedal August 28, 2018 Libby Christian Church held its fourth annual Kootenai Valley Triathlon on Saturday, August 25, with its 5K run or 3K walk, seven mile paddle down the Kootenai River, and seven mile bike ride back to town. The triathlon was started in 2015 as a way for families and community members to participate in a fun event for recreational and competitive athletes. Smoke from fires near and far again this year didn't seem to deter the participants from another successful LCC triathlon.
