Libby Polar Bears president Rick Klin was the only person to take a dip in 34° Libby Creek Sunday, December 24. A recent cold spell with frigid temperatures and snow made the day truly fit for polar bears. The air temperature was 7° at dip time. The New Year plunge will take place Sunday, December 31, at Riverfront Park in Libby at 2:30 p.m. Spectators and those wishing to take a plunge are always welcome.
