‘Glow’ Dance Party at the Heritage Museum

Members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, on River Road in Libby, met Saturday evening October 14 at the old Swamp Creek dancehall log building on the Heritage Museum grounds. The group of young adults and families with children, hosted by Museum member Jessica Selle of Fusions Hair Salon and Kaleigh Bennett of Hava Java, held a "Glow" dance party with "black" light, glow-in-the-dark décor, and music by a DJ. Attendees wore glow-in-the-dark clothing and painted their faces with glow-in-the-dark paint. The party was a huge success for approximately 90 church members!

Volunteers are vital to getting The Heritage Museum dancehall completely enclosed so it can be used year-round for activities. The log building is currently open under the eaves and needs to be winterized. The Museum volunteers work year-round, not just when the Museum is open during the summer. If you have some of the skills needed for this project, and a few hours of time, the Museum would welcome your expertise! Call (406) 293-7521 and leave a message; someone will get back to you.
