Community Garden Produce Kootenai Harvest Festival 2017 September 19, 2017 The third annual Kootenai Harvest Festival was held Saturday, September 16, at Riverfront Park. Locally-grown garden produce, vendors, live music, presentations, kids' activities and a Farm-to-Table dinner were featured to celebrate the season. The air was notably clear Saturday afternoon after several smoke-filled days from the nearby West Fork fire. A promising weather forecast of rain for the following week was welcome news for the fire-weary community. The Harvest Festival is sponsored by the Montana Wilderness Association: www.wildmontana.org, which partners with the Libby Community Garden to provide the vegetables to make the dinner.
