Chainsaw Carving Championship September 15, 2017 Libby's Ron Adamson works on his Quick Carve piece Friday during Kootenai Country Montana's inaugural Chainsaw Carving Championship. Carvers from around the country, the United Kingdom and Japan will create chainsaw art through Sunday on Mineral Avenue. For the carvers, it's a competition but for spectators, it's a visual treat to watch as the artists turn a piece of log into a stunning work of art.
