"Meagher of the Sword" featuring Neal Lewing

The final Lemonade on the Lawn of the season was held Wednesday, August 24, at the Libby Library. The Montana Conversations program featured "Meagher of the Sword," a presentation about Thomas Francis Meagher, Montana's first territorial governor, with historical reenactor and musician Neal Lewing. Lewing presented the story of Meagher through folklore, music and Meagher’s own words.

Funding for the Montana Conversations program is provided by Humanities Montana through grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Montana’s Cultural Trust, and private donations.
