The Lincoln County Sheriff's office says an aircraft is missing south of Libby. The aircraft reportedly was due to land at the Libby airport at midnight Tuesday, but did not arrive. David Thompson Search and Rescue is in the general area of the last known coordinates looking for the plane.

No other details are available or being released as to the owner, passengers, or make and type of aircraft. Libby airport is a general aviation airport, thus the plane is a smaller private type aircraft.
