Groundbreaking for new Libby hospital Oct. 12

Ground breaking on the new St John's hospital in Libby is scheduled for Friday, October 12, 2012 at noon. The ceremony will take place at the parking lot behind the current St. John's Lutheran Hospital, 350 Louisiana Avenue, according to K. C. Hoyer, St. John's Lutheran Hospital Foundation Executive Director.

"We would love to have the community join us for this event! We hope that you will share this with your friends, and come to the ground breaking together," said Hoyer.

The new $32 million, 25-bed hospital is scheduled to be operational in 2014. Swank of Kalipell has the construction contract.
