Furnace determined to be cause of fatal house fire in Eureka

The Eureka house fire that took the life of 84-year old Collin Maclean last week has been determined to have been caused by the furnace in the basement.

The Lincoln County Sheriff says his body was found inside the building on Creekside Road. Maclean's wife, Sharon Delong, was able to make it out of the house fire without injury. Authorities originally thought no one was inside building, which was fully involved by the time firefighters arrived on scene.
