Libby Dam flow increases to 24.3 kcfs on May 4

Libby Dam Flow Update - 04 May 2011

Current Libby Dam outflow is 21.3 kcfs.
Outflow will be increased to approximately 24.3 kcfs on Wednesday, 04 May, at 1000 MDT.

Current Koocanusa Reservoir elevation is 2345.2 feet.
We are targeting a reservoir elevation of 2330 feet by the middle of May.

The official May forecast, issued on 3 May, predicted an April-August inflow volume of 8.2 MAF and sets the flood control elevation to 2287 ft as an input for the calculation of the VARQ refill flow once the Start of Refill is declared.
