Lincoln County Emergency Management is having three public meetings to discuss the upcoming spring run-off, flooding potential and to inform the community about the possible flood risks, and provide an opportunity for residents along the river and any water sources to get sand bags and fill them before the event could occur.

Precipitation and snowpack are of concern and Emergency Management wants to be prepared for any flood and run-off potential. The county will have sand and sandbags at the meetings for those who want to pre-mitigate for a possible event.

In Libby, come to the Ponderosa Room - Monday, May 23rd, 7:00pm for information, sand and bags and to answer questions and listen to concerns.

For Eureka, at the Lincoln Electric Conference Room Friday, May 13th, 7:00pm. In the Yaak-Troy area, the Yaak Fire Hall - Tuesday, May 10th, 7:00pm.
