Judge dismisses petition for attorney fee compensation
by Duane Williams, KLCB-KTNY Radio
April 6, 2010

Justice Jay Sheffield, Tuesday, dismissed a petition by City Clerk Glenna Hook seeking compensation and attorney's fees from City Councilman D.C. resulting from a Temporary Protective Order secured by Orr against Hook.

Sheffield found that Hook's attorney failed to prove Orr had, in fact, filed a frivolous application for the protective order. Had that been proven, Hook would have been entitled to recovery of damages and attorney's fee.

Sheffield called the situation "a horrible personnel issue".
