‘All Aboard for Safety’ train in Libby April 15
Tour Amtrak train and learn about railroad crossing safety

Montana Operation Lifesaver, Amtrak and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad to promote railway safety preventing grade crossing collisions, trespass injuries, and fatalities are bringing a special "All Aboard for Safety" train to Libby. The "special" will make a three-hour stop in Libby on Thursday.

The Amtrak train, locomotive with five cars, arrives Thursday at noon and will depart at 3 p.m.

Tour the Amtrak equipment and learn about Railroad Crossing safety in the Libby area! Qualified Operation Lifesaver presenters, Amtrak Safety personnel will be on hand to give tours, and answer questions in regards to safety.

Montana Operation Lifesaver is a free public service education program sponsored cooperatively by federal, state, and local government agencies; highway safety organizations, and the nation’s railroads first established in 1972.
