by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Libby Dam October 1, 2009 Releases from Libby Dam will continue to be 6,000 cfs through September 30th. On Thursday, 01 Oct, releases will start to decrease starting at midnight to 5,000 cfs in two 500 cfs cuts. Another 500 cfs cut will occur on Friday, Oct. 02, to 4,500 cfs which is the approximate 1 unit efficiency. The current plan for Libby Dam operations is to hold approximately 4500 cfs through October and then target an elevation of 2434 ft to 2436 ft on November 30th.
