Koocanusa Reservoir Inflow Forecast at 87% of normal
Outflow at 4,000 cfs

The January 2009 April-August inflow forecast for Koocanusa Reservoir has fallen from 94% of normal in December to 87% in January. The end-of-January VARQ target flood control elevation is 2426.2' (2459 is full pool); current elevation is 2410.55'. Outflow from Libby Dam for the foreseeable future will be 4,000 cfs (minimum flow).
