March 23, 2008 | Update March 25, 2008

The bald eagles at the Libby Dam got their Easter egg early with the arrival of an egg in their nest on Wednesday evening. Typically a pair will produce two eggs, so watch the webcam to see if a nest-mate arrives soon! (Editor's Note: The second egg appeared on Monday, March 24. Scroll down for pictures of the nest and eggs.)

Click here for the bald eagle webcam page. The webcam is managed and maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Libby Dam.

Four days after the first egg was laid, still no sign of a second one. The webcam was not working on Sunday, so no new pictures were available of the nest for Easter.
