Foster and Adoptive Families Needed
Orientation February 18; Pre-service training in March
by Theresa Becker, DPHHS
January 10, 2008

Foster Care and Adoption Program:

Lincoln County DPHHS - Child and Family Services is seeking Foster Parents and Adoptive Parents.

We are recruiting stable families or individuals who are willing to open their homes and hearts to children needing a temporary or permanent home.

Child and Family Services works with children ages 0-18, who are in need of a foster or adoptive home. These children are not able to stay with their birth family due to abuse and neglect, and/or because their birth parents and family are unable to care for them due to incapacity, addiction problems, illness or incarceration, or a combination of problems that create an unsafe environment for children. Foster and Adoptive families are needed in all areas of Lincoln County.

To learn more about the foster care and adoption programs and the pre-service training beginning in March 2008, please attend the Orientation on February 18, 2008 at the Child Family Services Office at 933 Farm to Market Road Libby, MT 59923. The orientation will run from 6-9 p.m. To register or for more information please contact Theresa Becker @ 827-8124.
