| Fall Turkey applications due by August 1 July 16, 2007
 Hunters planning to pursue wild turkeys in certain areas of northwestern Montana this fall must apply for a special permit by August 1.  The fall turkey season runs from September 1, 2007-January 1, 2008.
 Prospective fall turkey hunters interested in permits for Lincoln and Sanders county areas must apply in writing, at a regional office for which permits are offered, or online. Mail-in applications must be post-marked by Aug. 1. Online applications available at fwp.mt.gov  under Online Services must be completed by 11:45 p.m. on August 1.
 
 Here are the proposed limited permit areas, season dates, and mail-in application information for Northwestern Montana, Region 1:
 
 - Lincoln County-182-50-150 permits.
 
 - West Clark Fork-183-50-150 permits.
 
 Send application and $5 fee to Montana FWP, Turkey Drawing, 490 North Meridian Rd., Kalispell, MT 59901.  Or, stop in to the FWP office in Kalispell and apply in person.
 Note: Fall turkey licenses for Flathead County can be purchased over-the-counter.
