by Maggie Craig July 27, 2006 What better way to spend a 100 degree afternoon than swimming in Libby Creek near the mill site. A slight cooling trend is forecast for the next few days, but July has been a hot one for Libby. Temperatures were near or over 100 degrees for several days in a row toward the end of July. Saturday, July 22, set a record at 104 and Sunday and Monday's highs, July 23 and 24, were record-shattering 107 degrees both days. |
