Troy homes and businesses to be checked for asbestos
New EPA toll-free contact phone numbers

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are planning to investigate Troy area homes and businesses for the presence of asbestos.

Troy area residents can get brochures and fact sheets specific to the Troy asbestos project by visiting the Troy City Hall at 301 Kootenai Avenue. Troy residents can also contact DEQ Project Officer, Catherine LeCours directly at 1-800-246-8198.

Libby residents can stop by the EPA Information Center at 501 Mineral Avenue in Libby.

For site-wide information, residents can call the new EPA Information Center toll-free number at 1-888-420-6810.
