Emil Szkipala Clash of the Carvers Thursday, September 4 by Maggie Craig September 10, 2025 The ninth annual edition of Libby's Clash of the Carvers was held over the weekend of September 4-7 on Mineral Avenue. Sponsored by Kootenai Country Montana and supported by a host of businesses and volunteers, the event draws hundreds from around the area to witness carving excellence in the making. This year's international carvers in attendance were: Dennis Beach, Adrian Bois, Sam Bowsher, Marina Cole, Mark Colp, Jamie Doeren, Lisa Doeren, Lkhagvadorj Dorjsuren (George), Joe Dussia, Micky Grayum, Denny Henson, Steven Higgins, Brigitte Lochhead, Bongo Love, Rachael Mirth, Alex Pricob, Emil Szkipala, Ryan Villiers and Taylor White.
